In this daylong retreat, we will explore some of the traditional teachings around how to work mindfully with emotion, as well as modern approaches drawing on the latest research in positive psychology and neuroscience. We will learn how to skillfully work with difficult emotions and cultivate greater well-being through meditation practice, applied mindfulness techniques, and exercises designed to deepen emotional intelligence and balance, in order to increase ease, contentment, and joy in daily life.
This day will include guided and silent sitting and walking meditation periods. You may want to bring a journal for notes or reflections if you wish.
Young Adults (18-26) and Seniors (65+ with limited income) are invited to attend this day for $45.
