We invite you to join us for our Fifth Annual Online International Insight Meditation Retreat—a gathering of practitioners from around the world coming together to rest, reflect, and awaken the heart. Thoughtfully designed to support multiple time zones, this retreat brings the depth and intimacy of a traditional residential retreat into the quiet space of your own home.
Together, we’ll cultivate presence and compassion through a rhythm of guided practice and teaching:
Sitting Meditation: Deepening stillness, concentration, and awareness. Alternate stationary postures are always welcome for those who need them.
Walking & Movement Meditation: Bringing mindfulness into every posture and weaving meditation into daily life.
Eating Meditation: Slowing down to savor nourishment and recognize our interconnection with the world around us.
Dharma Talks & Guided Practice: Teachings from the Buddhist Insight Meditation tradition to support both retreat practice and the challenges of everyday living.
This retreat also meets the retreat requirement for participants in Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) through Sounds True.
We welcome you to join us in this sacred tradition of shared silence, connection, and wisdom—an invitation to step back from the busyness of daily life and rediscover spaciousness and freedom of the heart.
What to Expect
Online Retreat Format: Practice “alone together” from your own home with a schedule carefully designed for depth, flexibility, and accessibility across time zones.
Daily Schedule: Days include periods of sitting and walking meditation, Dharma talks, guided practices, and an optional early morning meditation.
Small Group Meetings with Teachers: Each participant will have two small group meetings to receive individualized guidance and practice support from teachers.
Supportive Guidance: Teachers will provide clear meditation and mindfulness instructions, opportunities for reflection, and encouragement for both seasoned practitioners and those new to retreat practice.
Silence & Simplicity: The retreat container emphasizes simplicity, mindfulness, and a supportive rhythm to deepen awareness in every activity.
All are welcome—whether this is your first retreat or your fifteenth! We’d be honored to practice with you.
Testimonials for Christiane, Celeste, and Jake:
At the beginning the teachers said “You get the retreat you need” and it was absolutely true for me. There were difficult moments, and joyful moments, and for all of them the teachers were supportive, compassionate, and felt right there with me while also encouraging us to listen to ourselves. I’m definitely planning on attending at least one every year. – Caroline Y
For me the container that was created here was unusually effective and powerful in holding the ground and connection as well as providing the tools and focus to take a deeper dive into life unfolding in me and around me. Feeling very grateful for having had the possibility of attending and going a long the way with these extraordinary teachers and heartful sangha. – Daniel S
This retreat has been transformative as well as insightful in ways I could have never wished for or even imagined. The kindness and embodied wisdom of the teachers, as well as the Sangha, allowed for an experience that I will carry in my heart forever. – Marina P
