We do this practice not only for ourselves, but for all those whose lives we touch. Taking the time to care for our own being with mindful awareness is to care for our communities too - and the community we are growing together in the service of mindfulness, compassion, and wisdom that is so needed in our world today.
This daylong will be held mostly in the container of noble silence to support the deepening of our moment to moment mindful awareness. There will be periods of silent sitting and walking meditation with some instruction and guidance, a Dharma talk, and discussion. Our day will also include some deep listening and relational mindfulness exercises, as well as mindful movement to care for our bodies.
While we have offered several retreat to the community of practitioners in their 20's and 30's, this retreat is open to all.
