This class offers a natural next step for those who have completed our Essentials of Mindfulness course. Build on your understanding of mindfulness meditation and the Insight that arises out of this practice.
We will explore the benefits of a growing meditation practice as well as common obstacles that come up in meditation, applied mindfulness in daily life exercises, finding support for your daily practice, and deepening our understanding of the foundations of mindfulness.
Students will also be required to participate in a sitting group or daylong retreat during the course to support their practice.
This class is appropriate for people with some prior meditation experience such as an Essentials of Mindfulness or MBSR class.
There are six weekly classes.
