Surrounded by redwood forests and rivers, this is a place to deeply nourish yourself while practicing meditation and learning the teachings of ayurveda. Learn the art of true self care and deep well being in daily life.
Ayurveda is about the true balance that comes from living in harmony with ourselves and nature. We’ll breathe fresh air, enjoy beautiful farm-to-table, ayurvedically-aligned food, and soak up the prana of the redwood forests and rivers surrounding us. We’ve designed our days to follow the rhythms of the sun, moon, and nature that the body so craves.
Mindfulness meditation is a practice of clear seeing and learning to live with more presence and wakefulness in daily life. During morning meditation sessions with Celeste, we’ll practice sitting and walking meditation together, nourished by silence and stillness. There will be Dharma talks with teachings from the Insight meditation tradition to settle the mind and open the heart. After lunch, take time to rest, recharge, or spend time in the garden or walking in the woods. During the afternoon sessions with Julie, you’ll learn practical ayurvedic tools you can take home for balanced living.
